Be Thankful For The Things You Have

Hello everyone I had a great day yesterday. I was so happy to cook for my family and share my love through my cooking it was so much fun. Im so thankful for the things that I have, never again will I dwell on the things that I don't have or the things that others have. God has blessed me to have a strong/wonderful family, to continue my education, and has opened my eyes to see that life is not all about material items or being with the popular crowd.

I can truly say that life is good regardless of what I don't have. Lots of people will be out shopping and getting all of the things they so desire on what is titled "Black Friday", but I will be home studying and just enjoying the things that I already have.

I just ask that everyone please be careful out there when shopping among the large crowds of peple. Just remember to be thankful for the things that you do have and that your real friends/family will still love and respect you just for being you.

Have A Great Holiday Season

Hi everyone Im really don't know where to start, so I'll just jump right in. Well Im really excieted about Thanksgiving I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner and the smells of the Turkey/Ham and all of the foods like the cornbread stuffing, the Sweet Potato pies, Mixed greens, and the homemade gravy. I Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because I get to show my love through my cooking and watch my family enjoy all of the different dishes I prepared.

I decided to go back to school and continue my education its such a blessing to get the oppurtuniy to go back to school continue your education, and know that there's nothing to reallly stand in your way...The kids are grown they have their responabliites with going off to college getting jobs or just figuering out what they want to do with their lives, and now I can really focus on myself and not let anything stand in my way.

Please have a great Thankgiving holiday and enjoy not just the food but the people you love. Stay Blessed and Take care of yourselves :)

My Twitter Acct Was Hacked "BEWARE"

Hello everyone well well well what can I say today.... I was so I don't know what yesterday.... because someone with tooo much time on their hands thought that it would be fun to hack into my "Twitter" account and spammed 245 ppl with phoney dms (direct messeges) from me. I would like for you all to be aware and check your account because I've also received some of these direct messeges from followers but I really didn't pay it any mind. I know that others are doing their thing online like their Internet marketing/Network marketing so I don't really get upset when someone sends me a dm with a like to their oppurtunity. If you know me (I mean really know me) you know that I do not send phony links or spam ppl with bs material. Im all about uplifting others and being supportive to those who ask of my support. The reason for this blog today is to warn "YOU" about your Twitter account check your account to see if there are dms that you know your physically did not send. I started to sent dms to all those ppl that received those fake dms under my acct, but I counted 245 so I just decided to just post this matter to my blog. I also noticed that some followers have stop following me, but that's alright like I said earlier I you really know who I am You know that I don't spam ppl or send phoney links, so its all good those of you who stopped following me I hope it wasn't because of that fake dms I rather you just stopped following me because it was your choice to stop following not for something that really wasn't my fault. Anyway I dont want to just leave this blog without letting you know what these dms with the phoney links look like here they are: (why are you on here? LOL http://xsgay.co.uk/68df, hey. i think ur on this http://3.ly/vPZ, ur on here?? why?? http://wapurl.co.uk/?T0OKKVR,) etc. I would never send things like this... I hope those ppl who I had to block didn't get upset and just decided it would be fun to hack my Twitter acct because I didn't find it funny at all.. I don't like to play childish games. Kinky Curling Custard

This product is according to the Kinky Curly website, "Kinky-Curly hair products are formulated to add moisture, give hold without drying hair out and also offer protection from the elements." The products are created to soften hair and not leave it feeling greasy or weighed down. Im thinking about trying this product for my hair in the near future.

Now I do like the "Knot Today" this product is not greasy, or leave buildup and my hair doesen't feel hard it leaves my hair really moisturized without the greasy feel, I started using it again since my hair has grown (its been almost 5 months since BC)I tried using it about 3mts ago but I wasn't really impressed.




Since my hair is not so close to my scalp I can see the results of the "Knot Today". The "Kinky Curly" Custard because I read that it works so great with the Knot Today I would like to see how well it will work for me. When I get some I'll give you the update on how I like it.

Since growing my hair out natural and leaving the creamy crack (relaxer) alone Im really feeling so good about loving my God given hair and just embracing myself feeling liberated... Its a feeling I cannot put into words really, But what I would like to say to African American woman thinking about wearing their hair natural do it for yourself know who you are really truly are, and just remember that you did this for no one else but you. Stick with it.... :)

Then kindle so I did some research on this item. Now this looks like a great invention. Youre able to have your favorite books downloaded into this device, How cool is that. Instead of having music like an ipod here on the kindle you have books on your kindle. I think that is so awesome. Hey hows it going everyone?!

I went natural like 5wks ago and Im so excited about it
that I had to share it with my peeps lol!

Seriously though I feel really proud and liberated to just care for
and love the hair that God gave me. You may still see me with my lacefronts on
because I will always love my wigs, but I also love the hair that I was born with.

I enjoy that I have the oppurtiunty to be verstiale when it comes to my hair and I dont have to put my hair through any damangingi processes.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson 1958-2009

Well the only for me to start this blog is just to gett right into it. I will just touch the basis because I get into how I really truly got introduced to Michael this will turn into a book. So Im just going to talk about my favorite Michael Jackson album and its meaning to me while not taking up to much of your time.

The album is "Off The Wall" I got that album for my 14th birthday (I think, I know I was in middle school). I loved every song on that album and still do til this day 36yrs later.

The song "Rock With You" jsut brings back so many memories and Im getting a little teary eyed just thinking back on that time.

Their are only 2 musical artist to me whos album has every song banging and I like each and everyone of the songs on the album and get the meaning of the song, and yes Michael Jackson in one of them.

WoW, its really kinda hard to believe that Michael Jackson (from the Jackson 5) is no longer with us.

I really really miss him. God Bless the Jackson family and help them through their griving process.

You may have gotten here from my video or just strolling along.

However you got here its all good, I appreciate it either way.

I just wanted to share some info with you like I always do.

When I frist started on the internet I knew I wanted to do video so
I had to invest in a camera. So my SONY cyber-shot it was (in pink of course).

Then as Ive been advanceding in my marketing and everything, I felt it was time to upgrade the way I do my videos (and I just wanted a new camera).

So I was on Twitter on niggt and someone sent me the link to a Flip video camera,
the price was so reasonable I didn't even have time to think about if I should get it or not I just ordered it right then and there.

Its a great video camera that lets you record up to 30mins.

And its so cute!

When You Give You Recieve

Today was crazy I thought I lost my keys,
Something I never do I always do my best
to have my keys with me because Im sure you all know that
Locksmiths are not cheap. And when you lose your keys its not
just keys... its those little what tabs for the grocery stores,
and stores like Duane Read where you get a discount on some of the items you bought.
But thankfully I found my keys right where I left them on the foot of my bed wow....
Shoot thank God for cell phones lol! And that was basically the highlight of the day for me...

Oh yeah and my girl Tee just kept it real like she always do....
Talking bout when you give you will recieve..
I dont know girl but that video just hit me and reallly opened my eyes about being thankful for what I have and not being afriad to give more. Wow thanks for that video Tee you know you my girl forreal, I really appreciate you.. :)

Hey Hey Hey,

Hows it going out there?

Well some of you know I turned 40 two weeks ago... I still feel like Im in my early 20's....

I didn't do the big 40 party or even have that midlife crisis depression episiode...

Im just trusting and believing in my God, keeping focus on the big picture that God has planned for me.

Last week was not a good week for me. If I was on that recission bullshit letting it dectate my life I would not even be writing this blog right now.

I let go and let God. Thats how Ive lived my life for the past 10yrs. and I can say that by living my life that way Im not always in a depression in my mind.

By living my life according to Gods way and not the way of the world, Im at peace. Not to say that problems don't accord because they do and always will because those are tests that God puts us through to see how much we can handle.

So people out there who are stressing the recission and always depress about theer current situation, the best thing I can tell you is to let go and let God....

Hey ladies well if you seen my video about customer service
You alread know where this is going, but if not then here it tis....

About a month ago I wanted to get in contact with a manufactuer
whos product is "Liquid BlackSoap". So I went to the 1st person
who popped in my head (who happens to be an owner of a shop Ive been going to
for almost 5yrs.)

Ok well to not make this story so long my point is
Is it ever alright to ask a shop owner who sells the same product
you're looking for the contact # of someone else because you know you
can get a better deal with the other contact? Did that make sense to you?

Hey ladies this is a gourgeous saturday Im bout to get up out of here,go to the store and get me a containeer for my black soap... I placed my order for my Raw Shea butter, Raw Cocoa butter, and black soap. So Im going to make a liquid Black Soap today and Im so excited because this is the first time Im making it from scratch I can't wait to see how it comes out... Ill let yall know how I like it.. and Im going to make a hair pudding from raw honey and shea butter with essential oils and use it as a conditioner... Im so excited I cant wait... So Im outta here talk to you soon!

Dawn Williams-Having Fun With My New Flip Video!!

Hello Hello Hello

I was just messing around with my Flip Video yesterday
So I thought Id share what I came out with.
Its just me having a good time telling it like it T.I.IS lol!!

Then today was cool I did some food shopping,
and did a few hours of Counselings with some of
the ladies I work with at the shelter.

When I got home me and my son talked about what hes going to do with his life...
For some reason when these kids become 18 and start smelling themselves cause now they have a girlfriend/boyfriend, all they're good sense just goes out the window...umumum.

Tomorrow I plan to take care of some very important business
If everything goes as plans Im going to a very very very happy woman...

If any of you were following G to Gents you can give your congrats to "Mito" he and "Blue" became members of the Gentlemens Club, but "Mito" won the $$$$$!!!

Well Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate this beuatiful holiday.
Today was a great day a usual because I woke up today so thats a blessing right there. I didn't do the norm like other go to family and have a big dinner, I did that a few months ago Christmas.

Today I did a load of laundry that really needed to be done, I just let it laspe to long (don't act like you don't know lol!). I had a talkshow scheduled but had to reschedule, because the laundry took a little longer than I expected it too.

Oh well I'll be there next week, and me and my girl Tee are gonna talk about whatever comes to us, but best believe we will be keeping it real. OK lol.

Alright dudes just thought Id speak about my Easter Sunday. Its was a great day.

I was watching an episode of "Gs' to Gents" and Bentley's moms said those words to one of the Future Gents (Blue),I just loved that statement because thats what Im talking about!, I Don't care if its family "You have to take care of YOU before you can start taking care of others" That's a real deep statement right there a real deep statement. Word

So now you know that G's to Gents is one of my favorite shows.
Those young men find out something new & better about themselves each week...
So the Tivo is recording that every week, Best belive :)

Today the weather was crazy, in New York it doesn'tknow what in the world it wants to do.

First it was windy, then the flurries came & the rain behind it, and then the sun came out shining bright!
Im always amazed about how the weather response each year its never the same every year. A few years back I remember in December it was 80 degrees! I was lovin it! lol...
That hasn't happen since then :(
Oh well what can I do, thats the power of God right there...
And Im thankful for that power it keeps me focus and able to handle
the negetivity we have in our socity in a postive manner.

The Power of God is no joke...

Well I going to get back to focusing on my new project Love Your Lace.
I'll tell you more about that coming up,
Because its going to make this blog longer than
I intended but Im starting something Ive always wanted to be a part of.
